SASSA Payment Dates for August 2024
The August grant distribution date is similar to the SASSA July payment date, which means you will easily collect your grant on the initial dates.

SASSA Older Age Grant
After approving the August grant status, older applicants collect their grant on August 22, 2024. However, the amount is divided into two parts. If you are between 60 and 75, you will receive R1,990. On the other hand, any older applicant who is 75+ will get an extra amount, which is R2,200.
Disability Grant Payment Date:
The next day is only for SASSA-disabled persons approved for August payment. Please visit the office on Monday, August 5, 2024, and collect your disability grant. Make sure your SASSA distributes only the R1990 amount. There is no increment.
Child & Foster Child Support Payment Date:

Care Dependency Grant Payment date:

SRD Grant Payment Date:
SASSA has yet to confirm the exact date for the SRD R350 grant in August 2024. If your grant status shows approval, you will receive a notification between August 26 and August 31, 2024.
